Setting the scene in OPD

          As a general tradition and mode of opportunity for the new comers in Homœopathy, the Homœopathic Medical Colleges deputes the BHMS final passed out students during their internship in the college’s OPDs, to make them learn the mode of practicing & prescribing.

At their full extent the colleges direct their Internees to learn practically the Art & Science of Homœopathy.

During this period the colleges sharpen the skill of their Internee to serve the community as a healer.

I’m not about to write just golden words about colleges & their OPDs. I’m just to say how to set the scene in OPD.

It is obvious that Internees are always guided by the Senior Doctors, but it is must for them to know that during a CASE TAKING, what is there to do, what is not to do, and how to take the case, as well.

Let we start. When a patient comes to you, just tell them to sit at first but with neutral behavior and exclude the power of position or attitude whatever you have. You must remove the arrogance and attitude from you before the patient & their attendant. You are healers, neither the rulers nor the dictators.

And now switch them on by just saying :-

“Tell me, what lead you here?” (Kaise aana hua?) or “What has been happened to you?” ( Kya hua aapko?) And stay back listening and observing them.

And first of all try to have sympathy towards the patient and try to feel the suffering and pain of the patient, this will stop you from spoiling the case.

Do not interrupt the patient or their attendant until they complete their talk or at least their sentence. And do not ask the suggestive questions as been guided in the Organon Of Medicine.

 Once the patient has stopped, ask them if they would like to tell you something more.

          They will never show the Soul of their suffering until you established the Rapport. The Rapport is the familiar and happy relationship between the physician and the patient.

You will have to become the friend of the patient at that very time of Case Taking.

You will have to console them at sometimes.

You will have to boost-up them by making them confident.

You will have to make them sure about their secrecy from your side.

          Once the Rapport is established, they will most of the time lead you to the similimum without much exercise over the case.

          When the patient is uttering his/her symptoms do not ignore them and do not displace your attention from them. And never ask or talk to your colleague or your senior until the patient has finished his/her sentence.

And if you’re not taking the case, just sit quite, watch the scenario and do not interrupt or suggest until, unless asked by the one who is taking the case. Even do not move when the patient is uttering and is in between the sentence.

And the above paragraph should be strictly followed.

          And at the end when you and the patient have finished, you must discuss the case with your colleagues and your seniors but not in front of the patient.

THE FRACTIONAL DOSE...

The Fractional Dose…

The Fractional dose was used by the Legend Dr. Hahnemann in his early days of Homœopathic practice as the process of dynamization wasn’t introduced at that very time.

Dr. Hahnemann concludes the medicine on the basis of similarity and was used to give that in weight, i.e. 1 grain, 2 grains, 3 grains, & so on.

He used to dispense medicines in few doses, but ensuring the least possible quantity to effect the treatment without overdosing or leaving any bad effect on the receiver’s body.

At that very moment he divided the dose in certain parts & instructed his patients to take the divided doses one after another at certain intervals. And this was the picture of Fractional Dose.

Even the proving in the early days of Homœopathy had been conducted with administering the Fractional doses of drugs.

As the time advanced and the research work of Hahnemann continued. He, in the search of least possible quantity of medicine to make the cure affect, reached the level of dynamization of medicines, so as, having no quantitative but qualitative medicines. He further goes towards the new vista of dynamization, and reached the 50 millessimal scale ( LM Scale ) of dynamization in his last time.

He was using the fractional method of doses only when the medicines were materials. And not when the medicines became immaterial & dynamic.

Because anything can only be divisible when it is on material plane and can’t be divisible when it reached the immaterial plane, but it can only be multiplied the uncountable times.

Apart from this fact, some of the so called physicians boldly use to say that they prescribe fractional doses of the potentized medicines, and not of just potentized but of highly potentized, like 200, 1M, 10M, & even CM. I’m surprised how they do that.

The matter doesn’t close here. They further practice a more amazing thing that if they need to prescribe 1M or 10M and they don’t have it, instead they prescribe 200 as 4,6 or 8 doses saying that the 4,6 or 8 doses of 200 equals to the 1M or 10M.

These microcephalic persons doesn’t realize the dynamic state of medicines and still live in the time of materialism and overdosing. It is good for them to use physiological doses & leave Homœopathy…

I’m really sorry to say this bitter truth. I’m not sorry for the persons indulged in Pseudo- Homoeopathy, but I’m badly feeling sorry for Homœopathy for having these types of pseudo followers.

Similia Similibus Curanture, it is the Nature’s law of cure and it is universal truth. And one must be unprejudice in order to make a successful prescription. There should never be a Standard Protocol for any disease in Homœopathy. As in Homœopathy there is a concept of Wholism & Individualization.

Two days ago I was a little distracted from this law and made a prejudice in order to check a case of Conjunctivitis. I had tried medicines as is being practiced by many physician as a conditional or disease wise medicine. But as a fact they failed as they didn’t fulfill the principles coded by Homœopathy in treating patients. I then got dissappointed and get back to my Classical Homœopathy practice and repertorised every case and got different results and they were Constitutional too.

Medicines applied and result started their show within 2 minutes as being the fastest method of treatment, i.e., Rapid.

 As Hahnemann stated in his Organon of Medicine, “ § - 2 : The highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of the health, or removal and annihilation of the disease in its whole extent, in the shortest, most reliable, and most harmless way, on easily comprehensible principles.

I am very satisfied with my Classical Homœopathy practice. What about you ?

I’m all aware that there is a question arising in some mind about Genus Epidemicus. But I must say that “ Homœopathy has limitations and the limitations are limited. Homœopathy has scope but the scope is vastly broad. "

Avoid peeping through the window…

                Don’t use Aconite as a peeping remedy, ever, as it is nevertheless an acute medicine and the most trivial artificial disease.

                It, possessing the increased power dynamically (when administered unhomœopathically) can cause the disaster in the physique of the patient as well as on the psychic level.

                It’s not over saying it be disastrous but  it when posses the power to react dynamically when administered unhomœopathically will surely damage the systems of the body, their co-ordination, their physiology, their architecture, and nevertheless, it’ll cause the death, possessing the well said power of being ‘Acute, Sudden & Severe’…

                So, those who tries & tries remedy on their patients, be aware that your suggested remedy can sometimes being lottery, fix the problem, but mostly they harm and even cause deaths, and you being as usual not aware of what happened to the patient actually...

                Judge yourself a couple of time before prescribing the remedy. That, ‘Is it sure or not’?

                It is better not to prescribe than to prescribe death to the person that came to you seeking help.

A hypothesis always arise in some minds and also being propagated in some groups of physicians that “The medicinal quantity is in infinitesimal scale and is microscopic and even in succeeding potency there is no medicinal substance. So, if we administer any medicine and if it’s not the need then it would pass off and will not cause any alteration, or effect  on the individual”. This is completely a hypothesis as the person who use these words, actually doesn’t know the dynamization…

                An experience I would like to share here. Once I found a physician who was giving 8 – 10 medicines for one patient calling those medicines as possible remedies.  And without any hesitation he used to say that “whichever would be the perfect remedy for the case, will act & establish the cure and all the others will be eradicated by themselves without disturbing the patient and the remedy which supposed to be the similar one”.

                Did you found this a foolish work?  I found this being ridiculous! It is the insult of the entire medical profession as well as the misuse or you say misfire of the homœopathic medicines.

                The similar condition happens in the situation where the doctor peeps through the window.

She/he tries ‘X’ medicine, and if that not worked they try ‘Y’ medicine and if ‘Y’ not acted they tries ‘Z’ medicine and so on… They Hodgepodges the patients by using Choice Remedy (Prejudice).

                And I must say, This is not Homœopathy indeed…..

A question in mind aroused:

                On a large scale, the Homœopathic practice is now-a-days based only on the facts that are in form of Pathological investigations, X-rays, ECGs, USGs, etc.

                My question is, if Homœopathy is now-a-days only a science, then where the Art is hidden….?

I again repeat “Where the Art is hidden”?

            Now – a – days, the time is that when most of the So called Homœopathic physicians uses poly pharmacy frequently and they never thinks about, what the result is. They just watch the visits of patients. They consider only palliation & suppression as the general and original form of Homœopathic treatment. But this isn’t the truth.

            They just focus on the externally and superficially manifested alteration of health of the patient and even sometimes not so focused and just take a look and prescribes the already determined combinations of Homœopathic medicines, which are that time truly & completely Unhomœopathic. It is against the law of this science.

            And when they are asked about this, they use to say frequently that, “Single remedy can hardly work”, and even most of them doesn’t hesitate saying “Single remedy doesn’t work at all”.

They are not aware of the fact; they left far away behind them and also forgotten the concept of ‘Individuality’ and the ‘Life force’ and the Nature’s Law of Cure as well, on which this entire Homœopathic Science is based.

            And whenever or say it as always, they fail in treating a patient they frequently and carelessly use to say that “Homœopathy has nothing to do in this case.” This was completely their fallacy but they put that blame on the Science of Homœopathy, and according to Hahnemann, these peoples who fails by themselves and blames Homœopathy, are ‘Mongrel Sect’ which means Cross – Breeded Dog.

           In some conditions, where actually low potencies were required but the administration done by prejudice of high potency, initially apparently experiencing great relief actually not always a good sign.

Sometimes it is the condition where the treated case either suppressed or travelling towards the advancement without or with accessory symptoms, unperceived or saying the Interchange of symptoms.

For example the condition happens in a ‘latent stage of Psora’. There the condition advances without showing prominent noticeable symptoms. The condition advances with being invisible to the perceptions of the Observer.

This dose being unhomœopathic in nature but, as being dynamic and being the artificial disease producing agent, either advances the underlying miasm or creates a new miasm i.e., the seat of the disease, of its own.

In some observations it is also seen that unnecessary repetition or repetition of second dose before exhaustion of the first dose or previous dose of the same medicine in the same potency antidotes.

            A good practitioner of the Healing Art not only selects the proper remedy, but also select the most suitable, most harmless potency of the artificial disease producing agent, i.e., of the medicine.

A true practitioner of the Healing Art must have sympathy over his/her patient and should try the best to help the sufferer with any measure, either the psychotherapy, medicines or by surgical maneuver. But he strictly couldn’t fall in the highly emotional state making him/her susceptible to become the Second Victim.

                This, not only harm the physician but also endangers the life of his/her patients. Because for the correct prescription & management of patients, need healthy, analytical and keen observer mind and not a suffering, highly emotional, highly susceptible, unhealthy mind which suffers from incorrect perceptions, incorrect diagnosis, and suggests inappropriate plan of treatment.

Emergency Conditions, Incurable & Curable Diseases...

One can never cure a patient with single dose or repeated dose of single medicine, when the patient is incurable or is in need of massive management and palliation....
This doesn't mean that Physicians starts to consider every patient as to be incurable or in need of Physiological massive doses of drugs or being a case of palliation.....
                          Cure can only be achieved by the Homoeopathic dose of Homoeopathic medicines and not by Unhomoeopathic doses of homoeopathic medicines...
